How to prepare Green Beans with Olive Oil.
Learn how to make this delicious dish that is famous in the Levant and sometimes served as part of the Mezza, better known as Loubyeh Bzeit.

• 500 g French green beans
• 4 tbsp olive oil
• 1 large onion chopped
• 1 whole bulb of garlic
• 500 g fresh tomatoes chopped or canned
• salt and black pepper
• Trim the beans and roughly cut into 5 cm pieces
• Heat 3 tbsp of the oil and fry the onions and garlic.
• Add the beans and mix. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for about 5min until the beans are tender,
turning occasionally.
• Add the tomatoes, salt and black pepper and cook gently for 30min until the tomatoes have turned into a
nice sick sauce.
• Turn off the heat and stir in the remaining tbsp of olive oil.
• Leave to cool before serving.
