• 12 base artichokes shelled and peeled
• 500g minced meat
• ¼ cup butter
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 2 cup crushed tomato
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp sweet pepper.
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp salt.
• Pinch of cinnamon
• 1/4 cup roasted pine nuts
• 1 cup chopped tomato
• Boil the artichokes until soften
• Preheat the oven 180 degree.
For the meat stuffing:
• Add to a pan the butter to melt then add the onion. Add the minced meat and fry until cooked. Add the crushed tomato sauce, black pepper, sweet pepper, paprika, cinnamon, salt and the roasted pine nuts and mix all the ingredients.
• Put the bases of the artichokes and put in a baking dish add fill them with the meat mix and then to the top the chopped tomatoes
• Put the baking dish in the oven for 30 mins until the sauce is boiling and the artichokes are well baked.
