How to prepare the Grantita.

Ingredients:
2 cups of chickpea flour (ground chickpeas).
2 eggs.
Half teaspoon cumin 1/2.
Pepper (seasoning) black.
1 teaspoon salt.
1/3 one-third of a cup of olive oil.
Preparations:
• Preheat the oven to 500°F
• in a mixing bowl or a food processor combine:
• 2 cups of chickpea flour (garbanzo bean flour) , 2 eggs , 1/2 Tablespoon cumin , black pepper, 1
tbsp salt , 1/3 cup olive oil
• mix all the ingredients with a whisk or a mixer while adding slowly 4 cup of water
• Mix until the mixture is smooth (you can use a mixer or a food processor if there is any lumps)
• Grease a large trays with oil , and pour in the mixture
• Bake in a Very hot oven, as soon as the mixture begins to boil, lower the temperature to
• 400 °F
• bake until the Garantita is golden brown on top (about 1 hour)
• wait until it cools down before serving.
• Best served with a French baguette and Harissa
