30 ml olive oil
500 g beef (diced)
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
½ tsp cinnamon
salt
black pepper
1 L boiling water
2 tbsp tomato puree
2/3 carrots
500 g frozen peas
20 g chopped coriander
• Optional juice of 1 lemon
Heat the oil and fry the diced onion. Add the meat and stir over until it start
to brown. Add the garlic stir then add the cinnamon, salt and black pepper
stir. Add the water and tomato puree, cover the pot and let cook for 1 h (until
the sauce has thickened). Add the carrots and let cook another 10 min, then
the peas and let cook 20 mins. Put the coriander and serve you can add some
lemon and serve with rice.
